At Binder, our engineers are at the heart of what we do. They’re often the people you see on site, solving problems, keeping systems running, and making sure everything works as it should.
Harry Storey is one of our experienced engineers and tanker drivers, and he’s been part of the Binder team for over four years. His role combines technical expertise with hands-on problem solving, especially when customers need urgent support.
We caught up with Harry to find out a bit more about his role and what he enjoys most about life at Binder.

A day in your life at Binder:
No two days look the same for Harry. His role often involves responding to breakdowns, which is the part of the job he enjoys most. Harry thrives on diagnosing issues, finding practical solutions, and getting customers back up and running as quickly as possible. He takes real satisfaction in problem solving, especially when a fix makes an immediate difference. Alongside this, Harry regularly heads out in the articulated tanker, combining technical expertise with time on the road and hands-on work at sites across the region.
Best part of the job:
For Harry, it is all about solving problems and getting out in the articulated tanker. He enjoys the responsibility that comes with the role and the sense of achievement that follows a job well done.
Outside of work:
Outside of work, Harry enjoys travelling around the country to watch his stepson play football at big stadiums. It is something he is passionate about and looks forward to whenever he gets the chance.
