Treatment Site

We are one of the only wastewater providers to have our own treatment site in East Anglia.

This means we can guarantee the highest quality and best value service to our customers. 

Our treatment facility in Claydon, Suffolk is where all waste product from septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, cesspools, pumping stations and interceptors is checked, screened and stored for treatment. 

The screened waste passes through our high speed Hiller centrifuge at up to 16 cubic metres per hour; the discharged solids can be lime stabilised before being loaded and taken away for agricultural use as biosolids fertiliser. The water then goes back to storage for treatment.

All effluent is treated to a very high standard set by the Environment Agency; it is monitored and sampled before it passes to the local water course.
