Binder approved as NICEIC Approved Contractor
We’re proud to announce that Binder has officially been approved as a member of both the NICEIC Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer schemes, following a successful audit earlier this month (April 2025).
This accreditation reflects our continued commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism in all aspects of our work, particularly in the installation and maintenance of electrical components within wastewater systems such as septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations.
Why this matters for our customers
As a family-run business with more than 60 years of experience in wastewater solutions, we understand that electrical safety is a vital part of any installation. From control panels and alarms to blowers, pumps, and distribution boards, these systems must meet strict standards to ensure long-term performance and regulatory compliance.
By becoming an NICEIC Approved Contractor, we have demonstrated that our electrical work meets the requirements of BS 7671, the national standard for the safety of electrical installations in the UK. This applies not only to domestic systems but also to more complex commercial and industrial sites.
Our approval covers:
- Domestic installations
- Commercial and industrial installations
- Installation condition reporting, including testing, inspections, and periodic inspection reports (PIRs)
A recognised mark of quality
The NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme is one of the most respected electrical accreditations in the industry. It signifies that we have been independently assessed for our technical ability, working practices, and commitment to safety. This gives our customers full confidence that their system is installed and maintained to the highest standard.
Whether we are wiring a new sewage treatment plant or servicing a control panel on an existing installation, this accreditation is a trusted indicator of our expertise and professionalism.
