Last Thursday I noticed our pumping station wasn’t working, so I called Binder (we have a maintenance contract). After a quick bit of fault diagnosis over the phone, they arranged for an engineer (Calvin) to come out first thing the next morning .. arriving at 05:45 on Friday!

The issue turned out to be a bit more involved than expected (a faulty capacitor and two faulty float switches) but Binder had everything on their van and got it sorted within a couple of hours. Everything was left working perfectly again. I did appreciate that their diagnosis was thorough, and replacing the float switches on this visit would likely avoid future callouts for related problems.

I really appreciate the quick response and the fact that they managed to squeeze me in at short notice. It was a job well done. Professional, efficient, and friendly (great job Calvin )

There are two things I particularly like about Binders:-
1. Binders are a very large commercial company, operating at the industrial level right across East Anglia, yet treat their small domestic customers (like myself) in a personal and friendly way, exactly as if they were operating at the local level. It is a pleasure to speak to your staff. Excellent.
2. To a man, the tanker drivers I have met have been cheerful and amiable fellows, which is remarkable considering the unpleasant job that they do. Thanks – and Well Done!

On the 9th July your representative Jonathan carried out an emptying of our chambers. We hadn’t opened the gates the night before and he rang and told us he’d arrived. He carried out his work very efficiently and having completed his task he replaced the wheelie bins and closed the gates. This is most unusual for workmen. In conversation we thought what a pleasant and agreeable person he was. A definite asset to your company. Also I particularly noticed how clean his tanker was and he clearly looks after it.

The engineer who attended was so helpful and professional, he actually attended a day sooner than expected as he had space in his schedule which was so handy. I cannot commend the guy enough for being so informative about the problems and how quick he solved the issue.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the wonderful Alan who came out for the 2nd time in as many weeks to deal with a blockage. I have a disabled 89 year old father who is reliant on his disabled facilities and Alan has just been superb and what an ambassador for the company. Anyway please let whoever needs to know that Alan was fabulous and also him personally.
